「古典学からの挑戦」
東洋学・アジア研究連絡協議会（Japan Liaison Council for Oriental and Asian Studies、略称J-COAS）は、2026年11月28日から29日にかけて、東京大学にて「古典学からの挑戦」と題した第1回国際会議を開催することをお知らせいたします。
2004年に設立されたJ-COASは、現在、東洋学・アジア研究に携わる34の学会で構成されています。J-COASは2013年より、毎年12月にシンポジウムを開催してきました。2024年12月7日の総会において、3年ごとに国際会議を開催することを決議し、その第1回を2026年後期に東京大学大学院人文社会系研究科で開催することとなりました。
近年の古代遺物や写本の発見、関連分野の目覚ましい発展、そしてデジタル化やオンライン手法がもたらす大きな影響を踏まえ、第1回大会のサブタイトルとして「古典学からの挑戦（Challenges from Classical Studies）」が採択されました。J-COAS第1回国際大会へ皆様を心より歓迎いたしますとともに、刺激的で知的に充実した大会となることを期待しております。
